About Tagaytay
Tagaytay sits on a ridge 685 meters above Taal Lake and its active volcano-island. From a vantage point along the ridge, one can get a good look at the maws of a seemingly placid but volatile Taal Volcano surrounded by the gleaming waters of the lake. The cool, breezy, and at times foggy weather amkes it an ideal summer getaway next to Baguio City. Picnic Grove is situated in one of the highest places in tagaytay. From Picnic Grove, you can see the majestic view of the Taal Lake and Taal Volcano. The place is like a park and a viewpoint where visitors can see the Taal Lake and Laguna de Bay. Visitors are likely to go ere because of the historical value of the place and to enjoy the cool temperature, it is also common to see people taking a stroll or trekking, horse riding and shopping among the many stalls. The extensive fruit and flower gardens lining the main road are attributed to its rich, fertile soil.
Full day Taal Volcano Trekking
Depart for day trip to Taal Volcano upon arrival we will have lunch at the Tropical Jungle Resort INDIAN BOXED LUNCH including Bottled Water and 2 rounds of Iced Tea/Soft Drinks. After lunch we board the Bancas (Outrigger Boats) to cross of Lake Taal to the foot of the volcano where our horses will take us up to the Top of the Crater an approx. 30 to 40 min ride.
Taal Volcano remains active up to this date and continuously spews out steams from several small vents. Reach the Rim of the main crater and wonder in awe at the view of the small island and the serene lake that formed in the gaping mouth created by the 1911 eruption of the volcano. After our ride back from the top of the Volcano board the bancas for your way back across the Taal Lake.
