Sitting on the doorstep of Angeles is Clark Freeport Zone, the former site of the biggest American military installation outside the United States (1903-1991). The country’s second freeport zone, this 33,653-ha mixed-use enclave abounds in light industries, gaming establishments, aviation firms, tourism estates, theme parks, recreation center and duty free shops. At its core is the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA), a vital aviation hub and the country’s future international gateway.
NAYONG PILIPINO
Against a backdrop of greenery, clean air, incredible foliage(including 100 year-old Acacia trees), majestic hills and warm people, the Clark Freeport Zone has emerged as one of the country’s top tourist attractions. Managers of the Clark Freeport, (upgraded from its previous “Special Economic Zone” status by virtue of a Congressional act passed last year) had branded it as “Asia’s Most Affordable Gateway”.

Cliff Diving
With five different diving boards and platforms ranging from as low as 3 meters to as high as 15 meters, it’s no surprise that Ariel’s Point was listed in the Huffington Post as one of the world’s top cliff diving destinations. If you love new challenges, are willing to take risks, and are in suitable physical condition, Ariel’s Point is the perfect place to check cliff diving off your bucket list. For everyone else, being a spectator and cheering on your new friends as they take the plunge can be just as exciting. Note: Ariel’s Point has a bamboo ladder and a floating dock that guests can use to enter the water without cliff diving.
Kayaking
Ariel’s Point’s protected location makes it the perfect area for kayaking along the unspoiled shoreline of Buruanga, a small coastal village on the island of Panay. Enjoy paddling to nearby deserted beaches or use your sit-on-top kayak as a mobile platform for cliff diving and nature photography. You might even encounter some flying fish or start a conversation with the local fishermen. Both single (one-person) and tandem (two-person) kayaks are available. Life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times.
Paddleboarding
Beginning in March 2016, Ariel’s Point will have Stand-Up Paddleboards (SUPs) for guests to enjoy. Test your fitness and enjoy a unique perspective on the water with our brand-new boards, which were custom-designed for beginners. Life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times.
Snorkeling
The beautiful seas of the Philippines are teeming with marine life. The coastline around Ariel’s Point is no exception. Clownfish, damselfish, starfish, and sea anemones are just a few of the fascinating species you might encounter during your underwater adventure. Some guests have even spotted sea turtles and dolphins visiting the area. Snorkels, masks, and life jackets are provided.
Boat Cruise
Sometimes the journey is just as fun as the destination. To reach Ariel’s Point, you will take a traditional Filipino outrigger boat known as abanca beyond the shores of Boracay and along an unspoiled coastline comprised of lush forests, deserted beaches, and volcanic rock. The boat ride, which lasts 35 to 45 minutes depending on the type of boat used, is the perfect time to make new friends while enjoying cold beverages served by our staff.
Lunch Buffet
Daytrip guests are treated to a delicious buffet that includes fresh and traditional dishes such as grilled fish, grilled pork, barbecue chicken, longaniza sausages, pancit noodles (vegetarian), eggplant salad (vegetarian), herb potatoes (vegetarian), steamed rice (vegetarian), prawn crackers, and an assortment of fruits (vegetarian). The package also includes a late afternoon snack or merienda such as caramelized bananas or local sweet potatoes.
Open Bar
Daytrip guests can enjoy unlimited drinks during their visit to Ariel’s Point.
Drinks include soda (Coca-Cola products), beer (San Miguel Pale Pilsen, San Miguel Light, and Red Horse), locally distilled rum (Tanduay or Old Captain), mixed drinks, and bottled water. Thank you for drinking responsibly.
Sunbathing
Ariel’s Point has several locations where guests can sunbathe with beautiful views of the Sulu Sea. In addition to several hammocks, a floating bamboo raft is available for guests to relax on when sea conditions are suitable.

0900H – Depart for Full Day Trip Pagsanjan Tour
From your hotel, proceed to the town of Pagsanjan, site of the famous Pagsanjan Falls; approximately two hours drive southeast of Manila. Passing through typical native countryside scenery, arrive at a riverside lodge where we board a dug-out canoe manned by able-bodied boatmen for the upstream ride to the falls, skimming on rocks and boulders amidst steep gorges and lush vegetation. Spend sometime at the falls where you may opt for a bamboo raft-ride through the curtain of water and be subjected to its pounding, as it falls from a height of 70 ft. above the gorge. Your ride back is a more thrilling experience as you “shoot the rapids” while going downstream, with your boatmen skillfully maneuvering the canoe between rocks and boulders until you reach calm waters.
